The Project Team hosted the Sequoias to the Sloughs (S2S) Watershed Assessment and Stewardship Initiative Kick-off Meeting on July 7, 2026. During the meeting, participants learned about the initiative's purpose, goals, timeline, and opportunities for engagement. They also shared what they value most about the watershed, discussed what they hope this initiative will achieve, and explored potential outcomes. Invited speakers also highlighted complementary regional initiatives and opportunities to align efforts moving forward.
